Health and Safety Code § 382.214","heading":"SALE OF VEHICLE WITH INTENT TO DEFRAUD.","body":"(a) A person who with intent to defraud sells a vehicle in an accelerated vehicle retirement program established under Section 382.209 commits an offense that is a third degree felony.\n(b) Sale of a vehicle in an accelerated vehicle retirement program includes:\n(1) sale of the vehicle to retire the vehicle under the program; and\n(2) sale of a vehicle purchased for retirement under the program.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1075, Sec. 1, eff.
