Health and Safety Code § 401.236","heading":"TIER 4 CRITERIA.","body":"The commission shall consider as tier 4 criteria:\n(1) the compatibility of uses of land near the proposed disposal facility site that could be affected by the construction and operation of the disposal facility or facilities; and\n(2) possible socioeconomic effects on communities in the host county of:\n(A) the proposed disposal facility or facilities;\n(B) the operation of the proposed disposal facility or facilities; and\n(C) related transportation of low-level radioactive waste to the disposal facility or facilities.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1067, Sec. 7, eff.
