Health and Safety Code § 401.505","heading":"CERTIFIED LASER HAIR REMOVAL PROFESSIONAL.","body":"(a) An applicant for a laser hair removal professional certificate must:\n(1) be certified by a recognized certifying agency, including the Society for Clinical and Medical Hair Removal or another certification entity approved by the department;\n(2) meet the requirements for a senior laser hair removal technician certificate under Section 401.506; and\n(3) pass an examination required by the department.\n(b) A certified laser hair removal professional acting under the protocol established with a consulting physician may perform laser hair removal without supervision.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 303 (H.B. 449), Sec. 1, eff.
