Health and Safety Code § 433.087","heading":"DEPOSITIONS.","body":"(a) The department may order testimony to be taken before a person designated by the department and having power to administer oaths at any stage of a proceeding or investigation under this chapter. A person may be compelled to appear and depose or produce documentary evidence at a deposition in the same manner as a witness may be compelled to appear and testify and produce documentary evidence before the department under this chapter.\n(b) The person taking the deposition shall transcribe or supervise the transcription of the testimony.
