Health and Safety Code § 437.01955","heading":"SAMPLING AND DONATION OF COTTAGE FOOD.","body":"(a) A cottage food production operation may provide samples of its products to consumers at any location in this state in accordance with the standards provided by Section 437.020(c).\n(b) A cottage food production operation may donate food other than time and temperature control for safety food for sale or service at an event, including a religious or charitable organization's bake sale, to the same extent an individual is allowed by law to donate food.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 303 (S.B. 541), Sec. 7, eff.
