Health and Safety Code § 481.067","heading":"RECORDS.","body":"(a) A person who is registered with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to manufacture, distribute, analyze, or dispense a controlled substance shall keep records and maintain inventories in compliance with recordkeeping and inventory requirements of federal law and with additional rules the board or director adopts.\n(b) The pharmacist-in-charge of a pharmacy shall maintain the records and inventories required by this section.\n(c) A record required by this section must be made at the time of the transaction that is the basis of the record. A record or inventory required by this section must be kept or maintained for at least two years after the date the record or inventory is made.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
