Health and Safety Code § 481.131","heading":"OFFENSE: DIVERSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE PROPERTY OR PLANT.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person intentionally or knowingly:\n(1) converts to the person's own use or benefit a controlled substance property or plant seized under Section 481.152 or 481.153; or\n(2) diverts to the unlawful use or benefit of another person a controlled substance property or plant seized under Section 481.152 or 481.153.\n(b) An offense under this section is a state jail felony.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 141, Sec. 2, eff.
