Health and Safety Code § 483.024","heading":"RECORDS OF ACQUISITION OR DISPOSAL.","body":"The following persons shall maintain a record of each acquisition and each disposal of a dangerous drug for two years after the date of the acquisition or disposal:\n(1) a pharmacy;\n(2) a practitioner;\n(3) a person who obtains a dangerous drug for lawful research, teaching, or testing purposes, but not for resale;\n(4) a hospital that obtains a dangerous drug for lawful administration by a practitioner; and\n(5) a manufacturer or wholesaler licensed by the Department of State Health Services under Chapter 431 (Texas Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act).\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
