Health and Safety Code § 486.004","heading":"FEES.","body":"(a) The department shall collect fees for an inspection performed in enforcing this chapter and rules adopted under this chapter.\n(b) The executive commissioner by rule shall set the fees in amounts that allow the department to recover the biennial expenditures of state funds by the department in implementing and enforcing this chapter.\n(c) Fees collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of a special account in the general revenue fund and appropriated to the department to implement and enforce this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 282 (H.B. 164), Sec. 9, eff.
