Health and Safety Code § 487.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Department\" means the Department of Public Safety.\n(2) \"Director\" means the public safety director of the department.\n(3) \"Dispensing organization\" means an organization licensed by the department to cultivate, process, and dispense low-THC cannabis to a patient for whom low-THC cannabis is prescribed under Chapter 169, Occupations Code.\n(4) \"Low-THC cannabis\" has the meaning assigned by Section 169.001, Occupations Code.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 301 (S.B. 339), Sec. 1, eff.
