Health and Safety Code § 501.101","heading":"IMPOSITION OF PENALTY.","body":"(a) The department may impose an administrative penalty on a person:\n(1) who manufactures or repacks a hazardous substance that is distributed in this state or who distributes a hazardous substance in this state; and\n(2) who violates this chapter or a rule or order adopted under this chapter.\n(b) A penalty collected under this subchapter shall be deposited in the state treasury in the general revenue fund.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1411, Sec. 7.01, eff.
