Health and Safety Code § 533A.040","heading":"SERVICES FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH.","body":"The department shall ensure the development of programs and the expansion of services at the community level for children with an intellectual disability, or with a dual diagnosis of an intellectual disability and mental illness, and for their families. The department shall:\n(1) prepare and review budgets for services for children;\n(2) develop departmental policies relating to children's programs and service delivery; and\n(3) increase interagency coordination activities to enhance the provision of services for children.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1 (S.B. 219), Sec. 3.1335, eff.
