Health and Safety Code § 534.0001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Commissioner\" means:\n(A) the commissioner of state health services in relation to:\n(i) a community mental health center; or\n(ii) the mental health services component of a community mental health and intellectual disability center; and\n(B) the commissioner of aging and disability services in relation to:\n(i) a community intellectual disability center; or\n(ii) the intellectual disability services component of a community mental health and intellectual disability center.\n(2) \"Department\" means:\n(A) the Department of State Health Services in relation to:\n(i) a community mental health center; or\n(ii) the mental health services component of a community mental health and intellectual disability center; and\n(B) the Department of Aging and Disability Services in relation to:\n(i) a community intellectual disability center; or\n(ii) the intellectual disability services component of a community mental health and intellectual disability center.\nAmended by:\nActs 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1 (S.B. 219), Sec. 3.1336, eff.
