Health and Safety Code § 534.058","heading":"STANDARDS OF CARE.","body":"(a) The executive commissioner shall develop standards of care for the services provided by a local mental health authority and its subcontractors under this subchapter.\n(b) The standards must be designed to ensure that the quality of the community-based mental health services is consistent with the quality of care available in department facilities.\n(c) In conjunction with local mental health authorities, the executive commissioner shall review the standards biennially to determine if each standard is necessary to ensure the quality of care.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 1, eff.
