Health and Safety Code § 551.042","heading":"OUTPATIENT CLINICS.","body":"(a) If funds are available, the Department of State Health Services may establish in locations the department considers necessary outpatient clinics to treat persons with mental illness.\n(b) As necessary to establish and operate the clinics:\n(1) the department may:\n(A) acquire facilities;\n(B) hire personnel; and\n(C) contract with persons, corporations, and local, state, and federal agencies; and\n(2) the executive commissioner may adopt rules.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 1, eff.
