Health and Safety Code § 593.078","heading":"PAYMENT FOR ADULT RESIDENTS.","body":"(a) A parent of a resident who is 18 years of age or older is not required to pay for the resident's support, maintenance, and treatment.\n(b) Except as provided by Section 593.081, a resident and the resident's estate are liable for the costs of the resident's support, maintenance, and treatment regardless of the resident's age.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 1, eff.
