Health and Safety Code § 594.012","heading":"REQUEST BY CLIENT, PARENT, OR GUARDIAN.","body":"(a) A client, the parent of a client who is a minor, or the guardian of the person may request a transfer or discharge.\n(b) The service provider shall determine the appropriateness of the requested transfer or discharge.\n(c) If a request is denied, the client, parent, or guardian of the person is entitled to a hearing under Section 594.015 to contest the decision.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 76, Sec. 1, eff.
