Health and Safety Code § 65.151","heading":"ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), an individual is eligible for benefits under the program if the individual is:\n(1) a resident of this state;\n(2) a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States; and\n(3) uninsured, as determined by the commission.\n(b) If the commission determines necessary, the commission may consider an applicant's financial vulnerability as an additional factor for determining program eligibility.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 626 (H.B. 18), Sec. 2, eff.
