Health and Safety Code § 691.012","heading":"FEES.","body":"(a) The commission by rule may set and collect fees in amounts reasonable and necessary to cover the cost of administering this chapter, including fees for:\n(1) receiving and distributing bodies and anatomical specimens;\n(2) conducting inspections and other verification activities authorized under Section 691.034; and\n(3) registering willed body programs and non-transplant anatomical donation organizations.\n(b) A non-transplant anatomical donation organization is exempt from a fee described by Subsection (a)(1).\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., R.S., ch. 678 (H.B. 2136), Sec. 1, eff.
