Health and Safety Code § 692A.017","heading":"OTHER PROHIBITED ACTS.","body":"(a) A person commits an offense if the person, in order to obtain a financial gain, intentionally falsifies, forges, conceals, defaces, or obliterates a document of gift, an amendment or revocation of a document of gift, or a refusal. An offense under this section is a Class A misdemeanor.\n(b) If conduct that constitutes an offense under this section also constitutes an offense under other law, the actor may be prosecuted under this section, the other law, or both this section and the other law.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 186 (H.B. 2027), Sec. 1, eff.
