Health and Safety Code § 716.103","heading":"IDENTIFICATION RESPONSIBILITY OF CREMATORY.","body":"(a) A crematory establishment shall place on the exterior of a cremation container a label with the deceased person's name as provided by the authorizing agent unless the crematory establishment knows the name is incorrect.\n(b) A crematory establishment shall place, with the cremated remains, in the temporary container, urn, or other permanent container, a permanent metal identification disc, bracelet, or other item that can be used to identify the deceased person.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 178, Sec. 2, eff.
