Health and Safety Code § 772.605","heading":"POLITICAL SUBDIVISION; DISTRICT POWERS.","body":"(a) A district is a political subdivision of this state created to carry out essential governmental functions.\n(b) A district may exercise all powers necessary to carry out the purposes and provisions of this subchapter.\n(c) A district created under this subchapter may enter into an interlocal agreement with an emergency communication district established under Subchapter B, C, D, F, or G to promote enhanced public safety and increased fiscal and service efficiencies.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 80 (S.B. 1108), Sec. 1, eff.
