Health and Safety Code § 772.619","heading":"NUMBER AND LOCATION IDENTIFICATION.","body":"(a) As part of 9-1-1 service, a service supplier shall furnish, for each call, the telephone number of the subscriber and the address associated with the number.\n(b) A business service user that provides residential facilities and owns or leases a publicly or privately owned telephone switch used to provide telephone service to facility residents shall provide to those residential end users the same level of 9-1-1 service that a service supplier is required to provide under Subsection (a) to other residential end users in the district.\n(c) Information furnished under this section is confidential and is not available for public inspection.\n(d) A service supplier or business service user under Subsection (b) may not be held liable to a person who uses a 9-1-1 system created under this subchapter for the release to the district of the information specified in Subsections (a) and (b).\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 80 (S.B. 1108), Sec. 1, eff.
