Health and Safety Code § 773.141","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this subchapter:\n(1) \"Emergency call\" means a telephone call or other similar communication from a member of the public, as part of a 9-1-1 system or otherwise, made to obtain emergency medical services.\n(2) \"Emergency medical services call taker\" means a person who, as a volunteer or employee of a public agency, as that term is defined by Section 771.001, receives emergency calls.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1411, Sec. 19.10, eff.
