Health and Safety Code § 775.075","heading":"REDUCTION OF AD VALOREM TAX RATE.","body":"(a) The qualified voters of a district may petition in the manner provided by Sections 775.052 through 775.054 for dissolution of a district to reduce the ad valorem tax rate of the district.\n(b) The petition must state the new tax rate desired by the voters.\n(c) The tax rate may not be reduced below the rate needed to pay any outstanding bonded indebtedness.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
