Health and Safety Code § 775.108","heading":"GENERAL POWERS AND DUTIES.","body":"The fire marshal shall:\n(1) investigate the cause, origin, and circumstances of each fire that damages property;\n(2) determine whether the fire was caused by negligent or intentional conduct; and\n(3) enforce all state, county, and district orders and rules that relate to fires, explosions, or damages caused by a fire or an explosion.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 272, Sec. 5, eff.
