Health and Safety Code § 775.226","heading":"DIVISION ORDER.","body":"A board order to divide a district must:\n(1) disannex the land of the new district from the existing district contingent on the approval of the creation of the new district at the election held under this subchapter;\n(2) create the new district in accordance with this chapter;\n(3) name the new district; and\n(4) include the metes and bounds description of the territory of the new district and the existing district after disannexation.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1134 (H.B. 2212), Sec. 1, eff.
