Health and Safety Code § 775.302","heading":"APPLICABILITY.","body":"(a) This subchapter applies only to a district that is located wholly in a county:\n(1) that borders the United Mexican States;\n(2) that contains a municipality with a population of more than 500,000; and\n(3) for which the commissioners court appoints a board of emergency services commissioners under Section 775.034.\n(b) This subchapter controls over a provision of this chapter or other law to the extent of a conflict.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 21 (S.B. 332), Sec. 1, eff.
