Health and Safety Code § 791.001","heading":"DEFINITIONS.","body":"In this chapter:\n(1) \"Owner\" includes an individual, firm, association, or private corporation.\n(2) \"Story\" has its usual architectural meaning and includes:\n(A) a basement that extends five feet or more above the grade line on one or more sides of a building;\n(B) a balcony or mezzanine floor of a building;\n(C) a roof garden; or\n(D) an attic used for any purpose.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
