Health and Safety Code § 796.002","heading":"REQUIREMENTS FOR SALE OF CIGARETTE.","body":"A cigarette may not be sold or offered for sale in this state unless:\n(1) the cigarette has been tested in accordance with Section 796.003;\n(2) the cigarette meets the performance standard under Section 796.003;\n(3) a written certification has been filed by the manufacturer with the state fire marshal in accordance with Section 796.005; and\n(4) the cigarette has been marked in accordance with Section 796.006.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 909 (H.B. 2935), Sec. 1, eff.
