Health and Safety Code § 796.012","heading":"SALE OUTSIDE OF TEXAS.","body":"This chapter does not prohibit a person from manufacturing or selling cigarettes that do not meet the requirements of this chapter if:\n(1) the cigarettes are or will be stamped for sale in another state or are packaged for sale outside the United States; and\n(2) the person has taken reasonable steps to ensure that the cigarettes will not be sold or offered for sale in this state.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 909 (H.B. 2935), Sec. 1, eff.
