Health and Safety Code § 81.0815","heading":"FAILURE TO REPORT; CIVIL PENALTY.","body":"(a) A health care facility that fails to submit a report required by the department under a public health disaster is liable to this state for a civil penalty of not more than $1,000 for each failure.\n(b) The attorney general at the request of the department may bring an action to collect a civil penalty imposed under this section.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 863 (S.B. 968), Sec. 12, eff.
