Health and Safety Code § 81.193","heading":"PASS FROM INPATIENT CARE.","body":"(a) The head of a facility may permit a person admitted to the facility under order for extended inpatient management of a person with a communicable disease to leave the facility under a pass.\n(b) A pass authorizes the person to leave the facility for not more than 72 hours.\n(c) The pass may be subject to specified conditions.\n(d) A pass may not be authorized without the concurrence of the health authority or department.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
