Health and Safety Code § 81.199","heading":"TRANSFER TO FEDERAL FACILITY.","body":"The health authority or department may authorize the head of a health care facility to transfer a person to a federal agency if:\n(1) the federal agency sends notice that facilities are available and that the patient is eligible for care or treatment in the facility;\n(2) notice of the transfer is sent to the committing court; and\n(3) the committing court enters an order approving the transfer.\nActs 1989, 71st Leg., ch. 678, Sec. 1, eff.
