Health and Safety Code § 81.352","heading":"WARNING SIGN REQUIRED; RULES.","body":"(a) The owner or operator of a pet store that sells reptiles shall:\n(1) post a sign warning of reptile-associated salmonellosis in accordance with department rules; and\n(2) ensure that a written warning related to reptile-associated salmonellosis is provided to each purchaser of a reptile.\n(b) The executive commissioner shall adopt rules to govern:\n(1) the form and content of the sign required by Subsection (a) and the manner and place of posting of the sign; and\n(2) the form and content of the written warning required by Subsection (a).\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1228, Sec. 1, eff.
