Health and Safety Code § 841.147","heading":"IMMUNITY.","body":"(a) The following persons are immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter:\n(1) an employee or officer of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice or the office;\n(2) a member of the multidisciplinary team established under Section 841.022;\n(3) the applicable attorney representing the state and an employee of the attorney; and\n(4) a person providing, or contracting, appointed, or volunteering to perform, a service under this chapter, at the request of the office.\n(b) A court shall immediately dismiss any action asserting a claim against a person described by Subsection (a) that arose from the person's good faith conduct.\n(c) This section does not affect a defense, immunity, or jurisdictional bar available to a person described by Subsection (a).\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1188, Sec. 4.01, eff.
