Health and Safety Code § 85.061","heading":"HIV MEDICATION PROGRAM.","body":"(a) The Texas HIV medication program is established in the department.\n(b) The program shall assist hospital districts, local health departments, public or nonprofit hospitals and clinics, nonprofit community organizations, and HIV-infected individuals in the purchase of medications approved by the commissioner that have been shown to be effective in reducing hospitalizations due to HIV-related conditions.\nAdded by Acts 1991, 72nd Leg., ch. 14, Sec. 36, eff.
