Health and Safety Code § 88.003","heading":"REPORTABLE HEALTH CONDITION.","body":"(a) Childhood blood lead levels that exceed the reference level are reportable.\n(b) The executive commissioner by rule may designate:\n(1) blood lead concentrations in children that must be reported; and\n(2) the ages of children for whom the reporting requirements apply.\n(c) The executive commissioner may adopt rules that establish a registry of children with blood lead levels that exceed the reference level and lead poisoning.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 965, Sec. 52, eff.
