Human Resources Code § 101A.053","heading":"OLDER AMERICANS ACT; STATE PLAN.","body":"(a) The department shall develop this state's plan on aging, as required by the Older Americans Act of 1965 (42 U.S.C. Section 3001 et seq.).\n(b) The department shall conduct a statewide needs assessment for long-term care and other services for older individuals and their caregivers. The assessment shall include input from:\n(1) area agencies on aging;\n(2) regional and local state agency staff; and\n(3) community-based organizations.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1 (S.B. 219), Sec. 4.361, eff.
