Human Resources Code § 101A.156","heading":"ADMINISTRATION OF PROGRAM.","body":"(a) The department shall administer the Options for Independent Living program through grants to area agencies on aging.\n(b) Area agencies on aging shall maintain their service provision levels in effect on September 1, 1989, independent of the Options for Independent Living program. Funds made available under this program may not be used to supplant service funds for services provided on September 1, 1989.\n(c) An area agency on aging that receives funds under this section shall ensure the availability of the services for which the funds were granted.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1 (S.B. 219), Sec. 4.361, eff.
