Human Resources Code § 114.008","heading":"REPORT.","body":"(a) Not later than November 1 of each even-numbered year, the council shall:\n(1) prepare a report summarizing requirements the council identifies and recommendations for providing additional or improved services to persons with autism or other pervasive developmental disorders; and\n(2) deliver the report to the governor, the lieutenant governor, and the speaker of the house of representatives.\n(b) The council shall develop a strategy for establishing new programs to meet the requirements identified through the council's review and assessment and from input from people with autism and related pervasive developmental disorders, their families, and related advocacy organizations.\nAdded by Acts 1987, 70th Leg., ch. 956, Sec. 9.01, eff.
