Human Resources Code § 137.254","heading":"FUNDING.","body":"(a) The commission shall ensure that at least 75 percent of funds appropriated for home visiting programs are used in evidence-based programs, with any remaining funds dedicated to promising practice programs.\n(b) The commission shall actively seek and apply for any available federal funds to support home visiting programs, including federal funds from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.\n(c) The commission may accept gifts, donations, and grants to support home visiting programs.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 421 (S.B. 426), Sec. 1, eff.
