Human Resources Code § 137.255","heading":"OUTCOMES.","body":"The commission shall ensure that a home visiting program achieves favorable outcomes in at least two of the following areas:\n(1) improved maternal or child health outcomes;\n(2) improved cognitive development of children;\n(3) increased school readiness of children;\n(4) reduced child abuse, neglect, and injury;\n(5) improved child safety;\n(6) improved social-emotional development of children;\n(7) improved parenting skills, including nurturing and bonding;\n(8) improved family economic self-sufficiency;\n(9) reduced parental involvement with the criminal justice system; and\n(10) increased father involvement and support.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 421 (S.B. 426), Sec. 1, eff.
