Human Resources Code § 40.051","heading":"STRATEGIC PLAN FOR DEPARTMENT.","body":"The department shall develop a departmental strategic plan based on:\n(1) furthering the policy of family preservation;\n(2) the goal of ending the abuse and neglect of children in the conservatorship of the department; and\n(3) the goal of increasing the capacity and availability of foster, relative, and kinship placements in this state.\nAdded by Acts 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 920, Sec. 1, eff.
