Human Resources Code § 48.256","heading":"SHARING PROVIDER INFORMATION.","body":"(a) The executive commissioner shall adopt rules that prescribe the appropriate manner in which managed care organizations provide the commission with information necessary to facilitate the:\n(1) identification of individuals receiving services from providers; and\n(2) notification of providers by the commission.\n(b) The executive commissioner shall adopt rules requiring a provider to provide information necessary to facilitate the:\n(1) identification by the commission of individuals receiving services from providers; and\n(2) notification of providers by the commission.\n(c) A provider of home and community-based services under the home and community-based services waiver program described by Section 542.0001(11)(B), Government Code, shall post in a conspicuous location inside any residence owned, operated, or controlled by the provider in which home and community-based waiver services are provided, a sign that states:\n(1) the name, address, and telephone number of the provider;\n(2) the effective date of the provider's contract with the commission to provide home and community-based services; and\n(3) the name of the legal entity that contracted with the commission to provide those services.\nAdded by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 907, Sec. 33, eff.
