Insurance Code § 1131.056","heading":"PRINCIPALS.","body":"(a) In this section, \"agent\" includes a general agent or a salesperson.\n(b) A group life insurance policy may be issued to a principal, or if the principal is a life, life and accident, or life, accident, and health insurer, by or to the principal, to insure the principal's agents for the benefit of persons other than the principal.\n(c) A policy to which this section applies is subject to Subchapter I.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 1419, Sec. 2, eff.
