Insurance Code § 1201.054","heading":"APPEARANCE OF TEXT.","body":"(a) In this section, \"text\" includes all printed matter of an individual accident and health insurance policy except:\n(1) the name and address of the insurer;\n(2) the name or title of the policy;\n(3) the brief description, if any; and\n(4) captions and subcaptions.\n(b) An individual accident and health insurance policy must have:\n(1) a style, arrangement, or overall appearance that does not give undue prominence to any portion of the text; and\n(2) every printed portion of its text and of any endorsements or attached papers printed plainly in a lightfaced type:\n(A) of a style in general use; and\n(B) in a uniform size not less than 10-point with a lowercase unspaced alphabet length not less than 120-point.\n(c) Subsection (b)(2) does not apply to a copy of an application or identification card.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
