Insurance Code § 1251.115","heading":"RIGHT TO CONDUCT PHYSICAL EXAMINATION OR AUTOPSY.","body":"A group accident and health insurance policy must provide that the insurer has the right and opportunity to:\n(1) conduct a physical examination of an individual for whom a claim is made when and as often as the insurer reasonably requires during the pendency of the claim under the policy; and\n(2) in the case of a death, require that an autopsy be conducted, unless the autopsy is prohibited by law.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
