Insurance Code § 1251.351","heading":"COMMON CARRIER OR MOTOR VEHICLE RENTAL OR LEASING COMPANY.","body":"(a) A blanket accident and health insurance policy may be issued to:\n(1) a common carrier or the operator, owner, or lessor of a means of transportation to cover a group of individuals who may become passengers defined by reference to their travel status on the common carrier or means of transportation; or\n(2) an automobile or truck rental or leasing company to cover a group of individuals who may become renters, lessees, or passengers defined by their travel status on the rented or leased vehicles.\n(b) The common carrier, the operator, owner, or lessor of a means of transportation, or the automobile or truck rental or leasing company is the policyholder under a policy to which this section applies.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
