Insurance Code § 1355.105","heading":"DETERMINATIONS FOR TREATMENT IN PSYCHIATRIC DAY TREATMENT FACILITY.","body":"(a) Benefits provided under this subchapter shall be determined as if necessary care and treatment in a psychiatric day treatment facility were inpatient care and treatment in a hospital.\n(b) For the purpose of determining policy benefits and benefit maximums, each full day of treatment in a psychiatric day treatment facility is the equivalent of one-half of one day of treatment of mental or emotional illness or disorder in a hospital or inpatient program.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1274, Sec. 3, eff.
